NDT INSPECTOR: SAUDI ARABIA
Opportunity:
This international main Contractor and track maintainer, with a global reputation for delivering major rail and infrastructure projects around the world and with a strong presence in Saudi Arabia are looking for an NDT inspector to join our team.
Responsibilities:
The NDT inspector will work as part of a team of inspectors working with specialized heavy machinery and ultrasonic rail testing devices during the maintenance window and will perform data analysis to ensure the status of the rail during 300 km per hour train runs:
• Perform Site Rail Ultrasonic inspections on night shift.
• Perform Data Analysis with specialized software.
• Attend and benefit from training in the handling of machinery and tools used in rail ultrasonic testing.
• Ensure that relevant maintenance manual and procedures are operated on site.
Key requirements for the role:
• Ultrasonic Level 2 (UT) according to UNE-EN ISO 9712 with current accreditation.
• Phase Array Ultrasonic Inspection Level 2 (PAUT) according to UNE-EN ISO 9712 with current accreditation.
• Liquid Penetrant level 2 (LP) not mandatory but would be positive.
• Fluent in English to a level sufficient to obtain specific track work certification is required.
• Ability and experience in dealing with MS Office.
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Attach great importance to the issues of safety at work as well as the applicable standards and regulations in EHS.
• Structured, quality conscious and have an eye for detail with a proactive approach to your tasks.
• The physical demands must be met by a person to successfully perform the essential functions of this job on site.
