To become a member of AEND, a written request
should be placed to the Society’s Secretary General. The Secretariat will
process the request, by first forwarding it to the Board of Directors for its
approval or rejection and then informing the applicant the Board’s decision,
which is final.

Registration Forms
Duly completed registration requests to AEND should be sent via fax or post mail
to AEND Secretary.
|
A membership registry is kept at AEND
headquarters. Member registrations and cancellations, and the date these take
place on are recorded. Upon request, any member may have access to the
information in this registry.
Cancellation Criteria
A member may
lose this status:
-
Upon request by the member
him/herself. Cancellations will not imply reimbursement of membership fees
corresponding to the current year, but to the following tax year.
-
At the Board of Directors’
decision, after having started a procedure as a consequence of a member’s
severe infringement of the Articles of association or the Internal
Regulation. Prior to the decision, the member under investigation is given
the opportunity to explain him/herself.
-
At the Board of Directors’
decision, when members have not satisfied the corresponding fees or fixed
expenses (apportionments) according to the procedure described in AEND
Internal Regulation.
-
All AEND member rights will
be lost since the moment when the membership is cancelled, including the
patrimony-related ones.
