The official language of the 8th European Conference on Non-destructive Testing is English. Simultaneous translation to Spanish will be provided in relevant sessions. 

REGISTRATION

The Registration Fees for Full Participation covers all Conference activities, Abstract Book and CD Rom, 6 Coffee Breaks and 3 Lunches during the conference, Get-together Party, one entrance ticket to the Concert, Gala Dinner and Public Transportation card in Barcelona.

The Registration Fee for Accompanying Person covers the Opening Ceremony, Get-together Party, one Entrance Ticket to the Concert, Gala Dinner, Half day City tour, Full day Excursion and Public Transportation Card in Barcelona.

Registration Fees in Euros: (VAT not included)

All payments must be made in Euros, according to instructions indicated in the Registration Form. No registration will be confirmed until Pacifico has received the corresponding payment.

Provided a written notice of cancellation to Pacifico by letter or fax, received before February 1, 2002, pre-registered participants will get a refund of their paid Conference Fee, with a deduction of a processing fee of 10%. After February 1, 2002, no refund can be expected. All refunds will be processed after the Conference.

Pacifico S.A will offer hotel accommodation of different categories at special reduced Conference rates, at hotels situated close to the Conference venue. No reservation will be processed by telephone. Hotel rooms will be booked on a first-come first-served basis upon reception of corresponding payment by Pacifico. The details of Cancellation policy are indicated in the Accommodation registration form. As Barcelona is a highly visited city, the hotels are almost fully booked all over the year, and specially during June with other events taking place at the same dates. In order Pacifico to fulfil your requirements, you are advised to register at your earliest convenience, as soon as the 2002 rates and conditions are published.

Neither the AEND, nor Pacifico, S.A. will assume responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference. Participants are recommended to arrange their own travel and health insurance.

There are excellent flights connections to Barcelona, from all part of the world. The International Airport of Barcelona is located towards the south of the City, and a one way trip from the airport to downtown Barcelona takes approximately 20 minutes. Three public transport services are available from the Airport to the City: taxis, buses "Aerobus" and trains.

The international airlines company IBERIA Airlines has been appointed as Official Carrier for the 8th European Conference on Non-destructive Testing. Please note that IBERIA offers special  rates and conditions. The participants are kindly asked to contact the IBERIA Office in their country, quoting the name, the city and the date of the Conference, and showing the confirmation of their registration.
